Breathe

Directed by Andy Serkis, and starring Andrew Garfield, Claire Foy, and Hugh Bonneville, this film is undeniably one of the greatest true stories ever told. It speaks to the courage of the human spirit to fight for every last breath, and live life to the fullest. 

It is based on a true story about Robin and Diana Cavendish; a couple who's marriage is put to the test, when Robin contracts polio. It completely stripped his abilities from him, including his will to live. Being cooped up in a hospital can certainly turn a dark situation darker. 

His wife Diana refused to give up on him, and because she pushed the odds, together they ended up becoming the greatest entrepreneurs that ever lived in the era of polio, giving others the change to live the rest of their lives to the fullest, for longer than anticipated, instead of dwelling on a death sentence.
